WHAT IS IT?
Pluumo copies natural thermal insolation to create thermally insulated packaging made from surplus feathers to propose an alternative to conventional thermal insulators like polystyrene that negatively impact the environment. Making insulation from a surplus product can therefore reduce the environmental impact of packaging materials.
HOW IS IT MADE?
Surplus feathers are collected, cleaned, and processed into a textile. In order to allow easy handling, the inner materials are covered with a biodegradable film.
