WHAT IS IT?
Notpla aims to make packaging disappear by making edible seaweed-based packaging that can biodegrade naturally. Their material, unlike PLA, is does not pollute PET streams. Also, they lease out their machine to package liquids for events, making it possible to tailor the number of packagings to specific needs.
HOW IS IT MADE?
Notpla packaging is made from brown seaweed and produced without chemical additives.
