WHAT IS IT?

Merdacotta is a building material made from cow dung, clay, and straw. The material resembles Terracotta but weights less and resists cold weather better.

HOW IS IT MADE?

In the fabrication process, methane and urea are extracted, making the product odorless. The methane is used for energy production, and the urea goes into the production of plastics. Tableware is glazed with lead-free glazing, which is hardened through baking. During the baking, the straw contained in the product burns, giving the products a unique outlook.
