WHAT IS IT?
The small company TerraCycle convinced dozens of large brands in more than 20 countries to try out a return system or reusable packaging. Loop has been working with hard-to-recycle wastes like juice boxes, coffee capsules, plastic gloves, and cigarette filters. Customers pay a deposit for the packaging and get a refill later on or receive their guarantee back. The package remains the property of the brand.
