London Advance programme: making the circular economy everyone’s business

CITY CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVE

The Advance London business support team supports SMEs with existing circular economy offerings. As well as SMEs that want to transition to a circular economy business model. With their support, businesses can improve and scale, as they change their processes to become greener and more circular.

DESCRIPTION OF POLICY

The circular business support programme was established in 2017. Since then it has provided over 140 SMEs with vital, bespoke support. The programme, which is delivered by the Advance London business support team, enables businesses to access the advantages the circular economy provides.

So far, the programme has resulted in 18 SMEs, both circular and linear, launching brand new green products or services.
