Copenhagen circular economy workshops

CITY CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVE

In  Copenhagen,  as a continuation of their Resource and Waste  Plan 2019-2024, the city hosted a workshop where  people could come together, and share ideas  on how the municipality and private companies  could work together, to transform waste into  circular economy products and services.

DESCRIPTION OF POLICY

The City of Copenhagen has published an ambitious Resource & Waste Plan for 2019-2024. In that process, the city decided to collect feedback from researchers, companies and citizens.

The event hosted was an opportunity to meet the authors of the plan and present wishes on how the municipality and private companies can cooperate further to transform waste into products and services.
