WHAT IS IT?

Carbon Black is recovered from end-of-life tires instead of the usual manufacturing from incomplete combustion. Since incomplete combustion is a highly carbon intensive process, using black carbon from tires greatly reduces the emissions associated with the material. In addition old tires get a second purpose at the end of their useful life.

HOW IS IT MADE?

Reuse of furnace slag in cement factories, fertilizer, road-making, marine blocks to support coral growth; dust and sludge can feed recycled iron streams, produce offshore wind turbines from slag materials.
