WHAT IS IT?
SCOBY Packaging serves as an alternative to plastic wrapping for food cosmetic products. It contains no additives and is made from biological wastes. Thus plastic usage is avoided. Also, the packaging serves as an oxygen barrier. Although it is not soluble in water, it can be composted at home.
HOW IS IT MADE?
The material is made from biological wastes woven into packaging material consisting of pure cellulose without chemical additives.
